He is now a WABO Certified Welder that can design and build anything you can dream up. He works with local contractors, including Joe Myers Construction, which has given him many incredible oportunities and partnerships to make dreams a reality. Metal Stairs
Matthew is a master carpenter and has framed 100s of stair cases, so doing metal stairs is a breeze. Matt will make a template out of wood and check out the existing structure for plumb level and square and in doing this everything he has welded, powdercoated and installed has made it to fit to date. The calibur of jobs we have done is no easy task, but we love doing metal stairs.
Structural Fabrication and welding
We do a lot of structural I beams in homes to be able to take out walls and open up the floor plan. Matthew is a WABO Certified welder so there won’t be any worries about the welds – everything will pass through the city/county inspections. If you’re a contractor or a homeowner hit us up for all your structural fabrication/welding needs.
Awning / Canopies
Awnings are a nice modern look to add to any residential or commercial property. We mainly fabricate them out of metal but often use glass or acrylic plexiglass as the roofing material inside the canopy. We incorporate gutters to a downspout all inside the canopy structure. We normally use c channel or I beams for the structural part and sometimes mount wood inside the channel to soften the industrial look.
Handrails
Handrails are the main workload at Anderson Industries NW. Handrails are required to meet code on any staircase with 4 or more steps. Many elderly folks want a handrail on any type of staircase and even ramps, which means we do a lot of handrails. We do any design from modern to the old school rod iron look. We keep up on codes and take them very seriously. It doesn’t matter how cut-up or challenging your staircase is, we got you covered. A nice look we have been doing is a wood cap on metal rails. Check out our gallery under handrails to get some ideas.
Master Carpentry
Custom Home Framing
Matthew Anderson started production framing homes in 2000. He learned framing very quickly and learned how to be very efficient. At that point he learned to slow down a bit and focus on quality. He opened his first company in 2008 as Advanced Carpentry. He then focused on custom homes and remodels. We will take on spec homes but we sub them out to the many young carpenters we have trained. We still oversee all the work to guarantee quality. Matt does enjoy doing carpentry and will take on all carpentry jobs but prefers to do the metal fabrication because it’s less labor intensive.
Finish Carpentry
Matthew has done a fair amount of finish carpentry from setting cabinets, crown molding, fireplace mantels to doing the wood caps on handrails.
Siding / Roofing / Decks
We do mostly tearoff recover jobs but will do the higher end homes for new installs. Decks are another phase of your project that we excel in.
Dirt Work
Driveway / Road Building
We do a lot of gravel driveway building. We start with a 2-4 base and cap it with 1 1/4 minus. We live 10 minutes from the rock quarry so we get great pricing on the rock.
Tree work / Tree Removal
Whether its multiple trees that we push over with the excavator or a close quarters dangerous tree that needs to be climbed, we got you covered.
Clearing / Grading / Foundations / Drainage / Pipework
We have experience in clearing, grading, foundation holes, drainage/pipework. We like to do different trades so we never get board doing the same thing everyday.
